High downforce rear wing for motorsports and race applications. Lightweight Carbon Fibre built with carbon ribs and spars. 2x2 3k Premium Carbon layup. Chord 225mm, thickness 18% @ 30%. High camber design. Max Width: 1700mm Weight: 2.1kg @ 1700mm w/o endplates DF (N) @ 100mph by Angle of attack: 0 - 694 2 - 874 4 - 975 6 - 1064 8 - 1123 10 - 1135 12 - 1011 Notes: This wing has high camber and thickness for a mid-size wing giving downforce levels at the top end of single plane performance (comparable with many 300mm chord wings) and overlapping with dual-plane wings whilst retaining single-plane levels of drag. Recommended AofA for maximum performance / drag / sensitivity is 7 - 8 Deg. When measuring the installed AoA with a straight-edge across the wing the AoA is + 0.5Deg from the measured angle (in free air). Standard construction is suitable for cars upto 140mph (max DF 2250N). We can produce a stronger but slightly heavier wing with additional ribs and 8/10mm mounts for cars capable of higher speeds, contact us to discuss your requirements.
